Fully Restored from Original Cabinet
Restoration efforts to this original cabinet have included:
- Resealing and replacement of timber boards
- Filling cracks, blending colours, sanding, sealing and finishing to make wood-grain panels like new again.
- Stripping back control panel to metal, sanding, painting
- Re-fitting control panel with new artwork, perspex and controls.
- Fitting of TEAC TV tube as monitor and mounting chassis
- Design and printing to size of Arcade Artwork.
Just Plug in Your PC
Just plug in your own arcade-ready PC, that is it! This cabinet is fully restored and ready to go! Perfect for someone who wants to put a spare PC into a arcade cabinet, but doesn't want the bother of building one. You get the Cabinet, monitor, marquee light, artwork, IPAC, video cable, even a power board! All the hard part of building an arcade cabinet for your emulators has already been done!
IPAC and VGA->SCART Cable Already Supplied
- IPAC is installed already, just plug the PS2 cable into your PC to setup the controls.
- VGA->SCART cable already supplied and installed, just plug it into your video card's VGA port, and the MOLEX power connector to your PC internal power supply.
The VGA->SCART cable with MOLEX connector is impossible to buy normally. The MOLEX supplies power to an AV switching signal on the TV.
This cable will work with any video card that outputs a 15khz signal with negative H & V sync. To put this simply, it will work with almost any video card capable of outputting arcade resolutions, including ArcadeVGA video cards and ATI Radeon chipset cards (eg 9200/9250 and 9550 series) which I have tested it on.
The VGA->SCART cable will also work with virtually any TV that allows input via RGB SCART connection. This includes most better-quality European televisions. Therefore, you can use the cable for other MAME/ARCADE projects that you may have in mind!! As these cables are virtually impossible to buy, this would be a great addition to our mame hardware collection.
